Your Item is locked but the File is not locked. Your lifecycle state for Items needs to be configured so the security on the file is changed at the same time locking it down so that users cannot check it out.

as far as I know it is already that ... this should not could happen ....but we find them form time to time.. it is an easy fix... but I can´t fund out how it happen

@ihayesjr From that image it looks like he is viewing the file, and it shows that on Item is assigned, and the file is locked.  I think that is what I'm seeing.

@Darkforce_the_ilogic_guy I believe that this is still a permisisons issue.  Would it be possible to see the lifecycle security settings for your Released state on files?  Maybe there is a permission that is allowing some users to bypass the locked state?

Yes it is lock in the item and Check out at the same time.

But as far as I know I can´t Lock the item if the file is check out .. and I can´t Check the file out if it is lock by an item ... but I still finde them from time to time

If we are talking about the IDW in the images, @Darkforce_the_ilogic_guy are you the JCM user?

If not, the IDW can be locked for you but not locked for JCM which is why JCM can check it out.

The item is release ... it should be lock for all .. but no I am not the user who have the files check out

Right-click on the file and select Details. Go to the Effective Access tab and add the user who has checked the file out.

It will tell you what level of security is allowing the user to check the file out.

Or a user, with the correct permissions, can override the security on the file allowing the user to check the file out.
