Hello,
Our users are struggling massively with a problem that takes a lot of time when checkin
of especially large assemblies takes a lot of time. The problem is that the check-in command in Inventor 2019, which is triggered by clicking the button in Inventor 2019 behaves differently than the check-in that is automatically invoked by closing the document window.
automatically invoked by closing the document window.

- Check in by clicking the Check In button
In this case, Vault always requires prior saving of some or all of the files in the build group.
Note: A significant number of components still have the I 2016 file format.
This saving always takes a lot of time in large assemblies (e.g. 10
min)!

- Check in by closing the document window

This will automatically start the check-in. The special feature: This check-in does not require saving the assembly components!

Products used
- Inventor Professional 2019.6
- Vault Professional 2019.3

How is it possible to check in the assembly via the button without saving all files? The way it works when closing the assembly.
