Kirk,
Are you seeing this icon inside Inventor or inside Vault? Also, are you the
only one that is working on these particular parts or assemblies? I am
speculating that what you have in your working folder is out of date.
Either by thinking you are in the working folder when you are not (I do that
a lot) or someone has checked out the file and checked it back in prior to
you checking the file out again.
Let me know if I am off here 🙂
Thanks,
Jim

I'm trying to understand what the red icon with the check in it is telling
me. The help says that it usually means that I "started with a version for
(from?) vault that was older than the latest version, and then checked it
out to promote it to the latest".
I think this is saying that I got a previous version from vault and then
checked it out.
Am I reading this correctly? AFAIK, I have never done this (yet), but I
still have these icons in my browser. I don't understand how I coul
d NOT have the latest version if I have the file checked out to me.
Thanks,
Kirk
