Alex,
Thanks. FYI - I was told by someone, if I recall an Adesk employee to locate the .ipj file at the root level as opposed to a subfolder like I have it now.
I've since fixed the "Inventor Project File" setting in the Options menu as it should be ($/VaultWork/VG VaultWork.ipj).
But here's the thing, everything work fine and dandy on my station but now one of the users, even after they perform a "Get" on the .ipj file to path it where it needs to be on their local, when he either pulls a file out of vault or stores one in for the first time, it's recreating the folder structure and placing the files at the root level, instead of where the file is/was on his local.
This happens each time he checks a file into Vault. So he's done three files and thus far under root it's created like 3 levels of the "VaultWork folder. See below:
As you can see it's also duplicated the "VG Production" folder as well and stored the parts he modified there as opposed to where they are supposed to go, under the other "VG Production" folder.
Just now, I created a dummy part called "Pathing Part - Delete.ipt", stored it in the job folder in Vault. Went to his station, did a "check out" on the part from the "VaultWork\VG Production\"job folder". Then attempted to check the file back in and get this error:
Check In Error
File Does Not Exist: C:\VaultWork\VaultWork\VG Production\job folder\job number\Pathing Part - Delete.ipt
Check in Aborted.
What the heck?
