Copy Link/URL to Clipboard (not email)

CURRENT STATE (Vault Pro 2020, I have not tested new versions)

  1. Select a File
  2. File menu > Send > Send Link...
  3. Email opens with links and default text.

STRUGGLES

  • While the email is open the Vault client is locked up.
  • Most of the time I only need to URL to paste somewhere else.

  • Loading the email takes 6 seconds if Outlook is not opened
  • Often the email appears behind the Vault client.
  • I don't even know what happens if an Email client is not installed.

REQUEST

  1. Right-click a File/ITEM/ECO
  2. Copy Link to Clipboard -->
    1. Vault Client
    2. Web Client

@Josh_Hunt

Have you tried the Copy Hyperlink command in the Edit menu? It is also available in Vault 2020.

@ihayesjr Thank you very much, how long has that been implemented?
