Copy distributed views to another server

Hi, 

My company recently changed connection info from an IP-address to a webaddress (to the same server). The existing distributed views on the original connection did not carry over. 

Question: Is there any way to copy distributed views to another 'server'?

The views are stored in the Vault database regardless of how you connect, IP address vs web address.

It should have already worked.

Try clearing the users profile xmls. 

This is usually located in the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk Vault Professional 202X

It didn't work, however I found that after clearing those folders, neither IP nor web address have any distributed views. Not sure if it is by coincidence or what since I haven't looked into this issue for some time. 

I'm guessing something/someone must have deleted the distributed views somehow.

I'll have to set them up again.

I was able to recover the settings by logging into vault from a different client that had correct gridstates, then saving them again. It seems this prompted the system to distribute again.
