Is it possible, without having Vault Admin. rights to change the list of columns shown in Copy Design?

Yes, the columns shown in any dialog is based on the users preference it is not an admin setting.

Thanks, but I'm not finding anything to do with Copy Design below. Am I in the correct place?

 

Manage User-Defined Properties

1. Select Tools  Administration Vault Settings.
2. In the Vault Settings dialog, click the Behaviors tab.
3. In the Properties section, click Properties.
4. You can:
   • Click New to create a user-defined property.
   • Select a property and then click Edit to modify a property definition.
   • Select a user-defined property and then click Delete to remove the user-defined property.
5. Click the Settings tab to view the settings for the selected property. The settings displayed in the tab vary depending on the type of property selected.

Launch Copy Design. Right-click on any column header in the Copy Design dialog box and select Choose Columns.

That was the first thing I did and why I went to the forum. My choices are sort or fit column.

What edition of Vault are you using and can you provide a screen shot of the Copy Design dialog?

See attached. I'm also only getting the Reuse or Copy file options.

Do I need to have Vault configured?

You are using the old version of Copy Design.  You cannot change the columns in that version.
