Chromium Host Executable (32 bit) makes Inventor slow

I am using Autodesk Vault Basic 2017 Client with Autodesk Inventor 2017.

When I do certain things, inventor slows down tremendously. This happens when I open a file in inventor from vault. It also happens when I save a file in inventor that I previously opened from vault.

I opened up my task manager and it appears that a process called "Chromium Host Executable (32 Bit)" is the culprit. It is consistently using approximately 20% of my CPU. When I end this task, inventor returns to normal speed.

I reinstalled windows 10 and all my programs and the error still persists. I have also opened inbound and outbound use of port 80.

Is this a problem with my firewall settings? Any help is appreciated!

Inside of Inventor, are you logged into A360?  See http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-lt-forum/chromium-host-executable/td-p/5853579

This is due to the thumbnails files being generated for the MyHome window. Some improvement work was done around this in one of the updates for Inventor 2017. Ensure you're using Inventor 2017.3.

If the issue remains then you can disable MyHome from the bottom of the Inventor Tools, App Options, General tab.

Thanks

Chris
