Good afternoon all. I'm writing on behalf of a customer who has some questions about changing the default dwf page size through vault's visualization publishing options. At the moment, their visualization dwfs for autocad drawings are the wrong size for their given dwgs, and their dwf's are cutting off the drawing.
Looking into it, I see two ways to adjust this default paper size for dwf's produced from vault:
- editing the template file described here
- from the help, you can write in the "internal name" of the paper size into the publishing options for vault
Method 1, seems to work for me after some effort. My copy of the dwg was write protected, so I had to move it out of that folder > edit the page setup > and move it back in to save changes.
Method 2 has not worked for me though. I've tried typing it in with the underscore notation they describe in the help, but still no changes. I wanted to see if anyone has some advice on this method:
Then lastly, either method seems like a good amount of work for what appears to be a static setting. Will I have to go through these processes each time I'd like to publish a dwf of different size? Is there a way to have the vault dwf's publish to the same page size/setup of each drawing? Or perhaps it's doing this already, and I'm misinterpreting something.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
