Cannot edit numbering scheme

Hi!

I am trying to edit a numbering scheme. I would like to increase the max character limit.

I have the option to edit all my numbering schemes apart from one. The numebering scheme called "None" only has the option to view. P.s all the numbering schemes have already been used in files, I assume it's still okay to edit so long as I only want to increase ranges, and in this case that's what I want to do.

Best regards,

George

Once a numbering scheme is in use, you cannot edit it.

Hi @ihayesjr ,

I don't think that's completely correct, from what I've read on the forum, numbering schemes in use can be edited so long as you are extending the range.

This is confirmed when I check my settings. I have the option to change settings of numbering schemes that are currently in use, so long as I extend the ranges, i.e increase the range.

I can do this kind of edit to all but one of my numbering schemes. If you look at the images in my original post, you can see that one particular numbering scheme has the option for "view" instead of "edit" for which the reason is unclear, clarification on this would be much appreciated.

It appears that your "None" numbering scheme doesn't have an auto-generated sequence. Therefore, you cannot edit it.
