Can't add member to iPart even the parent part is checked out to me

The following error occurs when I try to add a member within the table...

However, the parent file is checked out to me...

Any ideas?

Check the ipart parent back in, then try the check-out again.  See if it will let you edit it then.

If not, Is your workspace set correctly? When you choose check-out, pay attention to where the file is going.  Is it the correct location you expect? If you are not seeing a dialog, then you probably have that suppressed under Vault>Vault Options.
