Automatic creation date with copy design

Hi

I have realised that Copy design swithes on my creation date in my iProperties. I don't want this tick selected.

How do I turn it off?

Are you using the Default copy design rule?
I tested here with 2022.2 and the resulting file only appears with this box checked if the original file also has it checked.

1st let me start with, I did not know about any default rules or rules for copy design. Where do I go to set these? Keep in mind I’m using Vault Basic.

2nd None of my files had this checked hence the post.

This is the first project I am doing in vault; this tick is set to be off on default. After making PDFs of new job and checking all the new drawings made from vault project has this date showing on my drawings where it does not show on the previous project’s drawings from which I copied design.

Ok, the Copy Design Rules are available in Vault Pro. Perhaps in Basic this behavior is normal, but not for Pro as far as I see. Will let the devs reply.

I'm just curious, in your Standard Inventor templates is that box checked or unchecked?

No its not, thats why everytime I make a copy this is checked. So all my original drawings don't show this date, and all the new ones that are copied has this date showing on the drawings
