AutoCAD 2020 freezing when opening from Vault

As the title says.... I have a single user who is freezing up AutoCAD when opening from Vault.  Vault is 2020.1, AutoCAD is on 2020.  What I have tried:

Repaired and then uninstalled/reinstalled both AutoCAD and Vault.

Removed and re-added the Vault Add In for AutoCAD.

What I have not tried (nuclear option), creating a new profile for the user.

The question is:  Has anyone else experienced this,... or am I at the nuclear option.

Hi Chris,

The login is working or open from Vault is hanging?

Have not experienced that. Have you tried hitting esc to see if a window is hidden somewhere?

Yes, the login is working fine for all of the user's products.  All functions inside of Vault Client work fine, and there is no problem (so far) with Inventor.

We have looked for hanging windows in the background or on the second monitor.  Nothing there.  When this happens, in Task Manager, AutoCAD is showing as "Not Responding" and drops to 0% instantly.

What I have not checked yet is the Event Viewer.....

Event Viewer seems to be pointing this to being an AutoCAD problem.  No mention of anything to do with Vault.  I'm leaning toward the profile being the culprit since no one else is having these issues.

Yes, I haven't seen this yet. sorry. My best guess would have been a window beeing off the screen.

I am having the same issue.  I am pretty sure this worked a few weeks ago.  Now, when I try to "Open from Vault" Autocad Electric just goes dead.  Pretty sure there is not an underlying window.

One other thing - I installed Visual Studio 2019 Community a couple of days ago.  I read somewhere that Autocad is sensitive to .Net installation.  I uninstalled Visual Studio. Now I would like to try reinstalling the .Net needed for Autocad.  I cant re-install Autocad myself, My IT people have to do it but I am out of town now and dont have access to them.  Any ideas about the .Net?

We are leaning toward this being a user profile issue.  I tried the same workflow on the same machine with my own profile and could not get the crash to occur.  We are waiting for IT to create a new user profile on the machine so we can test this out.  I'll report back.
