ADMS 2023 Window Authentication Mode

We have built new separated 2023 ADMS and SQL servers.

Have tested several times for function and all is well.

Before these servers can be released for production, they have to pass security scans for vulnerabilities.

There are many things that are getting changed and then tested after each.

One we are stuck on is the Authentication mode.

We would like to change Windows Authentication but cannot seem to make it work.

Are there any instructions out there on using that setting instead of Mixed Mode?

It seems you do need to go with Mixed mode at first install, then change later as long as you change the Vault account passwords stored in the ADMS:

Actually, the ADSK link clearly states that you Must use Mixed Mode which is what I needed to be stated.

The Microsoft link indicates that you should try Not to use Mixed Mode if possible but that some softwares may require it which ADMS appears to.

Thank you
