Expanding on PDMC sample

Hi,

We are currently trying to implement the extended options for property values as shown in:
https://github.com/koechlm/VDS-Sample-Configuration-2023/releases

What we would like to know is how we might be able to add additional option buttons for fields other than the currently available ones in the PDMC sample.

Our goal is to have an implementation in which users classify an object using a cascading lookup list as explained in the VDS tutorial chapter 13 (which we already accomplished).
After a user has classified the object in such a way, we want them to have the option to fill in property values of specific properties based on which class and sub-class the object might belong to.

I hope we are on the right track, and thanks in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Imme Huitema

You are on the right track, but I kindly ask you to read the readme of the GitHub carefully: the repository shares two sample configurations, the VDS-MFG-Sample and the VDS-PDMC-Sample. The extended configuration VDS-PDMC-Sample is currently under construction to merge multiple approaches for classification that I drafted and evolved over the past few years. You can read through the code if you are not afraid of getting confused ;). But I suggest watching the repository for newer commits later this year.
