I have setup up Vault lifecycle and now I would like to use the Vault revision table.
When I release the file, the comment of the "change state" window is filled in the revision table row. Also the date and the right revision number is in the last table row.
I only do not get the name of the approver in the table. I would like to get the name of the person who changed the state to released.
I can not figure it out how I can get this to work.
I have given the column headers the same name (Inventor and Vault settings), but with no luck. I have also looked at the property settings and there is a mapping.
What do I do wrong? Do I have the wrong property, or just wrong settings?
And one question about the workflow:
- I check a file out, do some changes and check it back in
- In the Vault Explorer, I change the state (after synchronizing properties) to released
- Now the Vault JobProcessor has to update the Revision table
- I can open the file again to export to pdf with the latest information in the revision table
Is this about right?
I know I can use the JobPrecessor to create the pdf after releasing, but we export pdf's to different locations, soit is a bit difficult to automate.
