Creating arc file Vault

Last week I was able to create an .arc file.

This is a kind of shortcut to a file in the Vault.

Maybe I use one step outside of the Vault.

These are the steps I think I did:

Selected the file in the Vault

Menu Edit > Copy Hyperlink

Maybe Paste the link in Word

????????????

I don’t remember how I did it and it is making me nuts.

And now I did not past out last weekend.

Dear All,

Found the solution 🙂

Select a file.

Go to “File” -> “Send -> “Send link” or “Edit” -> “Copy Hyperlink” and past in word.

Click on the link

The “View Download – Internet Explorer” dialogbox pups up. Select save and give the file a proper name.

The next time you double click on the file the Vault opens to the right file.

Would be nice if this exists also for folders.
