Project BOM should not collapse upon actions

In both Web/Plugin, Project BOM collapses after certain actions. User would have to expand Project BOM again to review where he left off last time. In some cases, this is such a waste of time/effort. 

The ProjectBOM in WebApp (left pane) should always stay as is even after selecting another BOM-filter (refer to video)
The ProjectBOM in the BOM-View in the plugin should always stays as is after open/checkout an item (refer to video)

Hi @smaddukuri2KE8C ,

Thanks for the suggestion. You have emphasise on the persistence of the tree view between the different BOMs (Project BOM, cBOM and eBOM). I understand that expanding the previous tree every single time is a waste of time.

Given the Project BOM has newer updates that impacts the tree, how would you expect the tree to behave after you switch over to the previous Project BOM view? Should it refresh the tree automatically or prompt there are new changes in the tree?

for web, suggestion is to use 'Open in new tab' option available from search result and from item's where used tab.
