Make a item type "Product documentation"

While it is convenient to attach e.g. a qualification report to a item, the report is not included in the BOM. 

It would be nice if one could have an item type "Product documentation" that can be added to the BOM with the file as the part.

Thank you for submitting your Idea.

Please note that you can send a support ticket to create an Item type for your Company with the type: "Product documentation".

You can use this type as an eBOM Item which would contain all needed documentation for your project like User manuals, Service manuals, Product specifications, etc.

This Item would then be present in your eBOM reports.
