Include Picklist Attribute in Upchain Workflows

Currently, Upchain allows for custom Attributes to be included within a created workflow. When you create a custom Attribute Picklist, there is no way to include this in a workflow to have users of Upchain ensure data is filled out prior to proceeding to the next phase or check in a workflow. This is critical in intention to sure data is filled out completely from a user participating in approval or checks.

could you please give us more information about the use case? Understand this is not available ATM but there are other options. There is a possibility to use categorisation and check for custom attribute value in the workflow. This custom attribute can be of type 'dropdown', which enables for Tenant Admin to define a list of values similar as picklist and removes potential of user error with typing.

Other suggestion is to use already available common item attributes of type picklist (e.g. item type) and to add custom values in this picklist, in administration.

Both common attributes and categorisation attributes can be used with CR mandatory attribute checks in the workflow.

I've got a client that would like this as well. For them, I offered the idea of using a category for the particular attribute and they decided they rather keep all of the properties in one place and their checkers will just have to check that attribute manually.
