Not able to sign in using the Upchain plug in in solidworks

When click to the button to sign in on my PC, this is what it says. It was working a week ago but now it doesn't even open the browser. There is no available field to put in my credentials in the plugin, so how do I fix this?

Some time ago, my colleague had the same problem. After a while, access appeared again. We think it might be an issue with internet connection.

Hi, can you try to delete following files (if they exist):

Directory: "%appdata%\Roaming\Upchain":

  • Auth
  • AutodeskConfiguration
Directory "%appdata%\Roaming\Upchain\Upchain CAD Connector":
  • All xml files ending with "_Settings"

Hi @francismb, can I confirm whether you have upgraded to 24.3 as per the plugin prompts?

Also I can confirm that the sign in with Autodesk should be the only available option. If you don't have one, you can create an ADSK account  and use the same email address that you've been logging in with

Actually on the next day I think. He had the same problem when he is working from home, but on the next day he logged in through a computer at work and everything was fine.

Hi Francis!

Would you please open a Salesforce case so the support Team can investigate this behavior and update the Development Team?

Kind regards,

Support helped me find a solution

I had to log out of my "Autodesk access" and log back in again. Still not entirely sure what caused the issue but his has fixed it.
