What to do if you're having a connection error

There are various causes that may result in the error message “Connect to the Internet. You must go online to continue. Please connect now.”

Steps to resolution

1. Ensure you have a reliable internet connection during activation.

2. Check your system clock and ensure it's set to the correct time.

3. Run the Autodesk licensing support tool to ensure that the required URLs are accessible.

  a. Download the Autodesk Support Licensing Tool. ( Windows | macOS ).

     I. A Linux Version is available without UI in the Autodesk Support Licensing Tool guide.

   b. Launch the Autodesk Support Licensing Tool:
