Many employers have an opinion on returning to the office.
If you had the choice, which would you choose? (Return to the office or work from home?)

"While some companies used to offer the ability to work from home as a perk, it has now become the norm for most businesses. By 2025, an estimated 70% of the workforce will be working remotely at least five days a month. While 2020 may be considered the year of remote work, it is just the beginning as we see the trend continuing in 2021." - Forbes
Evidently, some employees have enjoyed working from home so much that they'd rather quit their jobs than go back to the office full time, a new survey found.
I wonder how many veterans in our line or work would choose the office or work from home? - IF they had a choice.
I would think many closer to retirement would avoid such drastic decision, but then again, some may value their life more than closing a chapter of their life (career). - (Matthew 16:26)

Oh, to have worked from home.
Our company received emails from oil companies informing us that since we supply them, we are deemed essential workers. The only change I've seen in my work life during all this is the wearing of masks in any face to face interactions and an increase in virtual meetings. Our business hasn't even slowed down much, which, great for job security but not too wonderful on the health risk front.
Though I see the benefits of working in the office, my choice would still be working from home. This option gives me better flexibility and helps to keep a work-life balance.
It's not a choice for me. I've had medical setbacks and my physical disability prevents me from working in an office.
Many companies lie and say WFH is not a 'reasonable accommodation' possible for knowledge workers, but COVID has proved them wrong, and hopefully cases making their way through the courts now will reset precedence so more of us can stay in the workforce.
We're all one accident or illness away from becoming disabled and the fact that only about 20% of disabled folks in our country work means there's a lot of potential talent out there which is not being tapped.
I haven't worked for a company in St. Louis in years... lots of backward thinking here... that 2 hours a day in a car, unpaid, to sit around a germ factory with people constantly interrupting my work throughout the day because they mistake me for a personal assistant. No thanks!
SO, in short. Many companies and clients are realistic and allow WFH. Those are the companies I'll be working for/with.
I personally believe that companies should provide options for people to work from home a few hours a month. I honestly like the mixed option of going to the office but being able to work from home for a few hours.
