Confused: Why I'm still in rank 8?

Well, I know it is unclear to most of us. I've been reading many posts and couldn't find any solution.

I've seen many users are ranked 9 but I have more posts, accepted solutions and likes. I also publish articles and screencasts and try to help people as much as I can (I like doing it actually).

But, I'm just confused, why my rank isn't increasing? Is it a system problem or a problem of my any action?
