Utilizing Filters

There are many ways to filter a Facility in Autodesk Tandem. Floor, systems, source files, and spaces are some of the properties brought in from Revit into Autodesk Tandem. To utilize the filters:

    1. Open your facility.
    2. Locate and open the Filters tab in the left side menu.
    3. Select the necessary filters in the filters panel.
    4. In the viewer, navigate to the desired perspective of your facility.
    5. To reset your filters, navigate to the top-right corning of the filter panel, and click the back arrow.

As you select filters, Autodesk Tandem toggles available filters based on the hierarchy of the current selection.  For example, by only selecting the Architectural model, the Shell and Interior systems may be available. However, the Electrical and Equipment system may not.

To add/remove properties from the filter panel, click the gear in the top right corner of the filters panel. On the left side of the window are Available Properties, and on the right are Selected Properties (what is currently in view). Available Properties are properties not presently added to the filter panel, and Selected Properties can be removed if not needed. Once the desired properties have been added or removed from their columns, accordingly, click Update.
