The handover process brings a plethora of documentation with it. Autodesk Tandem now adds value by making it easier to connect those documents to assets in your digital twin.
Adding Documents to the overall Facility:
When viewing a facility there is now a new icon that allows users to add documents from Autodesk Docs.
Once opened, users can browse to their Autodesk Docs project and add PDFs to their Tandem Facility.
To link a document to specific asset:
Select an asset that has a link parameter. The parameter can be either a Element or Type parameter. Pick the document icon to attach create the link
Under the "Facility Documents" heading users can select documents that have been imported into the Facility. Note that if the document resides outside of Autodesk Docs users can still add a hyperlink to that location.
The documents can be previewed, viewed in a separate tab, downloaded and printed in Tandem.
If the document is versioned in Docs, it can be updated in Tandem as well. If the model is deleted in Docs the latest version of that document will persist inside of Tandem.

Hi @arch_momenali !
Thanks for attaching the screen capture. Based on the error you're receiving, your permissions to the Docs account may change. I'd checked your Docs account, and make sure something hasn't changed on that side of things.
I did check, and the connection between Tandem and Docs is working. Please let me know what you find out.
I certainly appreciate the workflow where if you are nearing completion of an ACC project that has relevant documents, that they can be attached in Tandem.
But there also needs to be a workflow for when ACC has not been used, such as due to client requirements, or converting an old existing building into a Digital Twin.
I also see this as an opportunity to improve on ACC's rather limited file management (i.e. Docs), and add a document management library right in Tandem. I could see some interesting features being added, such as tying into the classifications.
Hi @Chad-Smith
Facility transfer does help resolve some of what you have mentioned. The team has already logged your feedback, so one of the product managers will review it.
What classifications do you see being utilized within a document library, and how do you envision that workflow when creating the facility template?
