Inventor: Middle Constraint

I am new to Inventor after nearly 30 years using Solidworks.  I am trying to add a middle constraint to position the pins center on the block plane.  Solidworks had a constrain that I could select the two ends of the pin and the plane in the block, and it would center the pins.  Is there any option in Inventor?

Hi @rivnix,

You can constrain parts using work features such as planes, axis and points.

If you don't have the datum xyz planes in the right positions, you can create a plane as a midpoint of the cylinder and constrain to a plane that is the midpoint of the block.

To create a plane as a midpoint, in the part, go to work features -> midpoint between two planes, then select the top and bottom faces. A plane should then form in between the two faces, which can be constrained to.

I hope that helps, feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.
