Hi Everyone!
We are so excited to share some of the improvements to our Student Community that we have been working very hard on!
On Thursday 28th September, as part of our drive to improve the Autodesk Student Community, we will be expanding and moving outside of a Group Hub and adding some new features.
What does this mean?
Our forum, blogs, knowledge base articles & events will join the Fusion 360 Educators Forum & new Education Installation, Licensing & Administration board to create a single community space for ALL education users. This community will be called the Students & Educators Community. In the new structure, the Students & Educators Community will be more accessible as we will be in a more traditional community space, the same as any product or international communities.
What else is happening?
As mentioned, we will be creating a new Educational Installation, Licensing & Administration forum to ensure that all education users can get the best possible support, without needing to sort through posts about commercial license issues. In this new forum, you can create a post and receive help on getting up and running with your education licenses faster. We’ll still be there, and we’re always looking for community members who can step up and support other members of the community.
As part of this change, we will be renaming our blog to the Education Voices Blog, and allowing you to author your own articles to share them with the wider community of students & educators. We have created a separate forum post about how this blog will change and what we hope to do with it, so check that out! If your article is a hit, we can even promote your article to the main Autodesk Community Voices blog!
On 28th September, from around 2 pm PST, the Student Group Hub will be made Read-Only whilst we implement our changes. After the change, the Student Group Hub will be retired, and you will be redirected to our new location! All forum posts, blogs, articles, and events will be moved to the new location, so do not worry; nothing will be lost! However, on the 28th itself, you may notice posts begin to disappear from the Student Group Hub as we move them to their new location! The rest of the community will be unaffected, and you can always reach out to Leo or Oliver directly!
