The Eurocode version of ASBD allows for parameter input in the calculation of flexural stresses and lateral torsional buckling in columns and beams. Does this functionality exist for design to AS5100, and if not are there plans to implement this functionality?
I am also having issues with analysing a steel/concrete composite section (e.g. UC post embedded in a reinforced column), ASBD design to AS5100 allows for checking ULS section capacities using the "General Stress/Strain" analysis function only to my understanding. Specifically looking for checks for steel and reinforcement stresses in the composite section to both SLS and ULS loadings, is this possible?
