Error Zero width in continuous slab

Hi

Although I a signed a ''Continuous Slab Properties'' with a thickness, I am still having issue with an Error ''Zero width in continuous slab'' see attached screenshots.

The geometry been created in AutoCAD2014 and imported to Structural Bridge Design.

Hi Said

I suggest you send your model to Autodesk Support so they can take a look at the problem.

Thanks

You have to zip before upload. I suggest you send to support though.

Dear Simon

I assigned properties as ''Continuous Slab Properties'' for the bridge deck. Where I divided them in 4 meshes. Trying to find which mesh have the issue with assigning section properties. As you can see from the screenshots only one mesh shows the slap thickness in 3D, although I assigned for all meshes with the same section properties.

The attached file is the latest and I used version 2017 of ASBD.

Best Regards

Hi Said

Go to the 'Sub Model Members' form for the 2D Sub Model.  Shift select members 1 to 18 and delete.  This should sort the issue.  You had overlapping beam elements which was upsetting the continuous slab assignments.

Simon

p.s. in the future I suggest you go through support channel for these types of issues.
