Apply physics actor via code

I'm trying to dynamically load in models (FBX files) into a pre-compiled environment and I require the models to have a physics actor applied to them (for collisions).  Since this model loading has to be done on-the-fly at runtime, the physics actors have to be applied via code. 

 

Is this possible?
