A few questions about packaging

Hello there,

Perhaps the DWF writer is more versatile at it? I don´t

I recently packaged a project with the 1.1.247.0 version

And it does not work any more with the oculus runtime

0.8.

The projects packaged several weeks ago work fine still.

When test driving them in the editor they work. No stand-

alone anymore.

Just now updating the graphics driver and might be re-

rolling to the 0.7 runtime too.

And another question for now...

How to avoid recompiling after moving the project folders.

Copying the cache files does not seem to be all that needs

to be done.

With the self running exe not working that´s all I can do.

It´s for a trade fair and fairly important... crucial.

Kind regards

Daniel

AFAIK You will need to recompile whenver you move the project files.  I believe part of what recompiling does is reloacating things in the cache folder so yea, i believe it is a necessary evil.

Just to ask, why are you still using 1.1.247?  1.2.5 has been out for a while now and resolves many issues.

Hello Paul,

seriously I thought so for a while.

Thus checking with the new Nvidia and next to last AMD driver prove to solve the issue.

The latest (have not yet checked again) Catalyst Pro though seem to have difficulties.

The workstation (1245 Xeon- 32- W7100) refused to run the dev builds as well as the in programming test-drive drive.

Checking the same build at home, worked without flaw. Even without internet connection and the win 10 pro 0.8 runtime.

The Fury smoked the Titan... It's appropriate to say- I looked it up.

It's all good now and I look forward to test the recent versions enhanced baking performance.

Kind regards

Daniel
