Hello!
Everybody interested in getting the usability of Softimage NURBS curves and surfaces and the related SDK improved, as well as ICE Modeling support NURBS, might want to consider signing this online petition:

The last time anything was done in that regard was in version 5.0, about 8 years ago! Not one single bug was fixed in the meantime.
There are many people who would need curves and surfaces in their daily work. This petition is meant to raise the developer's awareness of that fact, so hopefully, we will see progress here again.
So far there are 39 supporters. Maybe we can reach at least 50...
