Hi folks!
I'm attempting to make use of the Color_Sampler node to output a few hundred frames of a section of my render tree, and I'm finding that things aren't working as smoothly as they used to. I suspect the node itself may be broken, but perhaps this is user error?
The way I was used to this working (back in 2009/2010 I think) was this:
Softimage 2013 docs - Color Sampler
The Color_Sampler used to have the following parameters:

Here's how I currently see the Color_Sampler:
The only exposed parameter is Texture Space, and there's an input to drop the desired clip to sample to. I've been assuming that the node has been refined to just use the size, file format and path of the image clip being pumped in..
However, I'm being told that the texture attached is not writable, and can never get anything out of the output. ("The texture connected is not a writable image")
Is this a bug? Is there a way to make a texture (clip) writable?
Thanks!
Brian.
