So I've been using Sketchbook Pro for... six years now? And in that time I've seem some things the program needs and doesn't have, and some problems that I've posted about repeatedly and have never gone away. I really like it, but it could be better. Over time they've added a lot of really cool stuff that's helpful, but it needs just that little bit extra.
1. Need curves for luminosity/color. Brightness/contrast provide pretty good control, but you need this to fine tune.
2. When I drag a layer up too many layers (testing seems to be about six), it instead gets teleported to the bottom of all my layers. This is obnoxious and pervasive.
3. When I do a square selection around something and deform it, if I do that process a couple more times, Sketchbook crashes without fail.
4. Merge group should leave me with the exact pixels I see before the merge. Come on. This is something even Paint.NET gets right. Merging only two layers often doesn't do this either.
5. The polygon select requires that I tap a bunch at one point to finalize the selection. Half the time, this just gets rid of my whole selection.
Also... when was the last time this program was updated? I don't think I've seen an update since it became free, which is exactly what I expected would happen. Sigh. They don't appear to care very much about the program, but these things would be nice if they were added/fixed.
Does anyone else have any features they think would make sketchbook better?
