transparency locked after image imported to layer

Hi

Using an iPad Pro (latest version of iOS 11)

when i import an image from Photos to a layer it comes with the transparency locked and the lock layer option for that layer has no effect. Is there some way to unlock it or better still have the import come in unlocked?

there’s prolly a toggle somewhere, but I can’t find it!

TIA

Brett

You can't toggle layer lock on an image.  I just imported it and I can't do it either.

Hi David

So this is definitely not a feature, so it must be a bug!

can it be reported as such please?

cheers

Brett

I have logged it with the development team.  It appears that you can lock image on Desktop and Windows 10 (Tablet) versions.

Hi David

Thanks for logging it. It is quite irritating 😊

Hi there,

I just wondered what the update is on this bug?

It looks like this is the same issue I'm experiencing, regardless of toggling the Lock/Unlock it refuses to let me draw on the layer stating that the transparency is locked.

I've just moved from an Android phone to an iPad, exported the drawing with it's 4-5 layers to a PSD, imported on the iPad.  In fact I've retried various methods to get the drawing over but haven't found a workaround that works.

Oddly, other multi-layered drawings have transferred by the same method perfectly.

Many thanks

Steve
