surface pro 3 - colour picker on tablet version needs to be easily clickable

i use a surface pro 3

i would love to see an easy way to colorpick with a single tap of an on screen button. much like the apple app- procreate has.

currently the colour pick tool requires you to click on the puck, then click on the eyedropper button, then click on the colour on the canvas you want. this greatly reduces the workflow.

it would be fantastic if there is a colour pick button that is easily press able, much like the undo and redo buttons, that is present on the screen at all times. so to seamlessly tap the button and then the colour as one paints.

i have searched high and low for this feature on the tablet version of autodesk sketchbook, and please correct me if i'm wrong, but this currently does not exist, when it is an essential way to paint quickly and efficiently. i can't be the only one finding this extra tapping to get to the colourpicker tool incredibly tedious and time consuming.

Thanks!  I will log this shortly with the development team.

Can you confirm that it's basically like this (at 1 minute mark)...

hey there David!

no that's not quite what I was referring to, though that is an awesome feature too.

this is exactly what I would love to see in Autodesk sketchbook for the surfacepro

https://youtu.be/4xwphxM73jc?t=40m20s

around the 40:20 minute mark

there is a button on the screen, you can click and hold it, and then tap on the colour you want while you are painting.

alternatively, there is also a feature to hold down your finger on the colour you want to pick on the screen and it will select that colour from your canvas (but that sometimes produces extra marks on the screen that aren't desired)

it would be great to see a button much like the button shown in the video above, that allows you to tap the button on the screen and then tap on the colour you want. it removes the extra tapping and searching for the colour picker and makes the workflow process a lot smoother/faster.

thanks so much for getting back to me! I hope the video makes this feature clearer to understand!

haha I know!

It's exactly what autodesk sketchbook needs to be my favourite program haha. my current process is to sketch in autodesk sketchbook, and if I want to do anything other than a base colour, I have to go to photoshop or some other painting program. I would love to just keep working in sketchbook, but this colourpicker issue really slows down my workflow and I can't take it!
