stepped lines with certain brushes

Hi there!

Unfortunately my lines of certain brushes have an inconsistent size growth when increasing the pen pressure.

The most often I am using the default brush "Design Pencil" besides a custom brush. Both have the same problem.

Attached you can  find a picture of it.

I hope there is a solution to get a consistent line increase.

Thanks a lot for your help,

Greetings Georg

What type of tablet are you using and what is the 'driver' version?

Hi David,

I forgot the mention the most obvious...

It is the newest driver 6.3.34-3 of the "Wacom Intuos Pro M".

Thanks

Georg

I would try an older driver.

https://www.wacom.com/en/support/product-support/drivers

a. Uninstall Driver.
b. Reboot
c. Install Driver
d. Test SketchBook.

Use/Test:

Driver 6.3.33-3 (Windows 7, 8, & 10)

Driver 6.3.29-6 (Win 7, 8 and 10*)

Driver 6.3.15-3 (Win 7, 8 and 10)

NOTE: Wacom drivers are universal. They should all work with your Wacom M tablet.

Thank you David for your response,

unfortunately in all 4 wacom versions appears the same problem (as seen in the attached pics).

Is there any other approach I could try?

Thanks a lot

Greetings Georg

Check the stylus NIB and maybe replace it.  There are some spares in the Stylus 'stand'.

I would try an older version of the driver via as well.

https://www.wacom.com/en/support/product-support/drivers

Drivers for Intuos3, Cintiq21, and Cintiq20 (DTZ) > Show older versions > Windows - Driver 6.3.14-1 (XP, Vista, Win 7, 8 and 10)

Lastly, if you are using the Wireless option on the Wacom tablet, I would use the USB option and not the bluetooth option.  See:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cjehwQa8Pg
