Some functionality problems

1) Sketchbook doesn't always accept import image and add text.

2) Sketbook doesn't always set the picture correctly

* if picture is 1500x2000 Sketchbook shows 2000x1500 image or opposite way

* if I rotate the tablet, the image doesn't always follow correctly - the picture might be rotated wrongly 180 degree

Can you tell me the model of your tablet?

Are you on Windows 8.1 or 10.x.?

What is the exact version of SketchBook are you running?  Can you take a screen capture of your SketchBook?  I may be able to determine version from the screen capture.

The screencapture shows the promblem - Autosketch did not rotate the image correctly.

The original situation beforecrotating the tablet. 

The option rotate canvas is off, but I assube the rotating the tablet itself should rotate the canvas and disabling rotating canvas should only prevent rotating the canvas with fingers.
