Saved only a portion of my work

Hi, I have saved my work in TIF file but when I reopened the file, I only see a portion of my work and thee rest is gone. Can I retrieve the work that I did prior to saving my work? Please help T.T I'm desperate!!

I am sorry to tell you that you have lost some of your progress.  If you are on a Mac, I would use the "Save As" command. 

The Save As command on Mac/Windows for SketchBook will use the last file name and add a number to the file.  i.e. File Save As > Dragon.tif, work on it, File > Save As > Dragon1.tif, Save As, Dragon2.tif, etc.

It will add a number to the file automatically.
