I have used v:7 for a number of years and would like to highlight the most disastrous feature of Sketchbook Pro.
If you have a hidden or locked layer, SP automatically compresses all layers into a single layer if you miss the message.
As a comic book artist, working from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, I sometimes dont save a backup for a few days and have lost quite a bit work.
In a single file, I have 38 comic book pages with multiple groups of up to 10 characters & multiple backgrounds. I also have sub groups for arms legs body head per character, (in order to create movement of the character).
I would like to have the compressing of layers done in a separate selection, ie the Edit section.
The compression massage is helpful but as a popup, sometimes its overlooked on a big bussy screen, or by accident.
Working on a big screen I would also like to have the Edit & Image functions floating like the brush puck.
I place my puck's close to where I am drawing to reduce my hand & arm movement across the drawing tablet.
I find the Toolbar too big due to the many seldomly used tools available and a puck function for would be convenient in this regard.
The most common tool I use is the back arrow & often when sliding the brush puck, the tool bar is in the way.
Please can you give some advice for converting colours from RGB to CMYK for printed books. I have seen most YouTube videos but haven't not found anything on this problem.
Sketchbook Pro has a number of features that are not commonly known that I will elaborate on in the future.
PS: I use a 7 year old Wacom Pro and excluding the above, still find Sketchbook Pro absolutely great.
