Layer that makes drawing appear historical

Hi

Is there a way to make a drawing look like it is an ancient historical document in SketchBook?

E.g. like a layer that you can paste on top of a picture that makes it look ancient, worn, faded etc.

Or it could be like a layer to make it look like it was a scene from the bayeaux tapestry.

Kind regards

Xander

SketchBook is for sketching.  You want 'photo' manipulation....

GIMP is free, but check out this post for info on it as well.

I don't know if this works for your particular case... but I feel like I've done something similar.

I import a large monochromatic texture image, and make that layer a "darken" layer.  I can also play around with the opacity.  In the end it makes the existing drawing look like it was painted on parchment or historical paper.
