ISSUE WITH HOTKEY DISPLAY

When I start a new drawing I always want the top view hotkey setting, which has no default setting, to be Ctrl+t. I can set this in preferences, but if I save the drawing and relaunch it later, or start an entirely new drawing, I need to do this all over again, every time. Is this possible to do this in the free version or does it have to be the Pro version?
