Ok, well, I had that version installed at first, but it seemed limited. And it sort of is. Hotkeys aren't the same? It's missing some tools. But the ruler and ellipse work as I expected them too. Of course, you lose french curve, as well as some other options.
I keep finding myself going back to mischief. It's got no frills, but you don't have to plan anything. You just straight draw. And you can always export different sizes later. It's lacking some tools like guides for sure.
But no one at work has been using sketchbook because it works differently on everything they use. A couple people have it on surface (like me) a few on ipad pro, some on their cintiq. And the experience is fairly different on each. Brushes don't seem to go with your account either. So I can't just log in on a cintiq at work and get going in my own workspace. I'd just use my own surface instead.
Most people at work just say, "forget it" and continue in photoshop, which is really a pretty poor drawing experience really.
Anyway, I was referring to windows ink ruler. But the windows 10 app version of sketchbook, the one that's lacking some of the tools, does have the rulers that work as expected. And since you can install both I'll experiment with moving back and forth to utilize all the tools. I'm hoping someone reads that and realizes that is a pretty poor experience though.
