Eraser does not fully erase, and fill tool makes squares?

Hey friends.

I've noticed that a couple other people had been complaining about the same issues I had, and I figured I'd post in order to add to that pile. I'm hoping that talking enough will get it fixed.

1. When I use the Eraser tool on any line, it will leave a very faint transparent residue, and will only fully go away if I erase it again. I don't want to have to erase twice when my opacity is at 100%. If it says it's fully erasing, it SHOULD be FULLY ERASING. It's very difficult to see at first, but tilt your screen enough, and you can just barely see it.

2. Whenever I use the fill tool, it will only fill a certain area towards the top. A little ways after the halfway mark in the canvas, the fill tool will only produce perfect squares, rather than filling like it's supposed to. I tapped multiple times on a 2000x2000 canvas, and this is the result.

Attached are screenshots of both scenarios. Please help.

#1 - That is a known issue.  If you erase something, put the color picker on the color and note the R,G,B values, it does't completely erase it.  You need to go over (erase it) several times.

#2.  Can you make a video of the issue using Screencast?

Any idea when this is going to get fixed? Seems to have been a problem for at least a year!

When are we going to have an actual eraser? If there's residue after erasing, this is a functional problem. I'm using Sketchbook for calligraphy and I need to be precise with what I'm erasing; and right now I need to it twice!

Do you have a timeline when you (autodesk) expects to release a fix for this? As there's no alternatives to fully erase a stroke, Sketchbook is not good for calligraphy.

I haven't found a fix myself for the fill issue but for the eraser issue I've found a workaround where you can use the transparent colour option to quickly change your current brush to an eraser (this is also quite useful to create nice textures when using other brushes)

I guess that's the best scenario for the moment being. Thank you!

To start, the fill option works fine for me, but the eraser certainly does not erase 100%. This wasn't an issue on my desktop, but my new laptop has this issue. I tested the issue. The eraser is not erasing more than 95%, I did a test of this and it's attached below. It should be noted that the pure whit you see in the text is a white pen, not the eraser (if you can even tell the difference.
