Brush stamp covers work, cant see!

I need some help! Whenever I go to add detail to a drawing, I zoom in and go to place my cursor over where I want to draw. A brush stamp appears over the area as to where to place the cursor. I am unable to see my work. How do I get ride of this? I cant take a screencast of it because the mark isn't placed  but I drew what it looked like. The stamp follows my cursor before I place it on the screen.

I followed the link and have redownloaded autodesk. The issue still remains
