Android Mobile Sketchbook File Completely Disappeared

I use the android mobile Sketchbook app. My OS is Android 8.0 and the Sketchbook version number is 4.1.14. I've been working on a drawing since late February or early March of 2019. I last worked on this drawing March 23 at around 3-4pm. I go to continue working on it at 6pm, March 23, and I can't find the file at all. It's not in my trash folder, it's not just a file with hidden layers, it's completely gone. Where did it go? How did this happen? I worked hard on this drawing and I don't want to start over again. Can I possibly recover it? All I can find of it is a copied selection.

NOTE:  The sketch maybe in the /Autodesk/SketchBook3 folder.

All sketches are local to the device. You need to back it up manually:

On Android, it's pretty easy, just copy the files from /Autodesk/SketchBook3 and copy it to your desktop computer. You can use the desktop version of SketchBook to complete our work (www.sketchbook.com/thankyou)

To re-import the file, you need to do this:

https://www.sketchbook.com/help/knowledge-base/back-files-settings/
See:  How to import SketchBook files from an older version into the latest version SketchBook for Android

For iOS, the best method is to use the iCloud:

IMPORTANT: To save a copy or version a file so you don't lose progress on the Mobile platform:

a. Start Sketch
b. Go to Gallery and start a new Sketch, It will ask you to save the file.
c. Go to the Gallery and start a new Sketch again and it will ask you to save the file.
d. Open the first Sketch and work on it.
e. Go to Gallery and start new sketch and choose the "Save as a Copy" option.
