Contour & Legend Bar Results should be driven by visibility of results

Contour & Legend Bar Results should be driven by visibility of results

This is something I would like to see in further revisions of Autodesk Simulation Mechanical.

Imagin having a colection of parts in an study in which you want to see the results for one or many but not all parts, but at the same time you want to preserve the other parts (with no results) for reference of the whole assembly.

In the current version if you turn off visibility on a part, it become hided and naturaly the results in the countour & legend bar changes to show the scale of results for the remainder parts. By doing this you won't be able to see the whole assembly.

In the current version if you turn off visibility of results on a part, it become shaded (no results) and the results in the countour & legend bar don't change. By doing this you will be able to see the whole assembly but also the the countour & legend bar will continue to show the results of all parts. This is specially problematic if the overall results are overshadowing the range of results for the part you want to see.

I'm proposing that the command visibility of results act not only on shadowing a part but also restricting the showing of its results in the countour & legend bar and allowing the change in the scale of results of the parts that are not shadowed.

If you go into Results Contours>Legend Properties>Range Settings and uncheck the "Automatically calculate value range, then you will be able to set the legend range to something that is more reasonable for the materials you are analyzing.
