Acceleration response for random vibration
Can the acceleration response be added to the results probe for random vibration. Would be nice to see the gRMS at a node. This is useful for comparing analytical analysis to real testing.
Good recommendation! This also relates to my recommendation of providing a frequency response function (FRF) of absolute response (vs. relative to base) of the model for comparison with real-world vibration test data.
I agree that this would be very helpful, and it should be possible to calculate the Grms using "Custom Results" and the Displacement and Frequency values; however, I do not see a way to access the frequency values from the Custom Results dialog box. Does anyone know if this is possible?
