Dear all,
I'm trying to perform a mechanical simulation (ASM 2016) with the injected material properties directly imported from a moldflow simulation (MFI 2013 or MFI 2014).
The part is a T-specimen: the basis is a part insert and the material is set as isotropic, the stem is the injected part. The parts are connected by mean of a bonded contact (al the nodes on the interfece are connected)
Altrough I got some warning message concerning the material mismatch, the simulation went to convergence and I got the residual stress distribution.
The main cause of those messages is due to the material manufacturer change even if the material name is the same.
After that, I was able to perform a subsequent analysis after applying a surface displacement on the stem top-surface and constraining the base.
Now, the warning messages are still showed but I'm not able to get the convergence in the same analysis.
Could you help me in understanding what happening? Have you got any suggestion to fix this issue?
